Welcome to the website for the Looier Arts & Antiques market.
The Looier was established thirty years ago as the largest permanent indoor antique market in the Netherlands.
We have 72 stands, several bigger shops, a Cafe and 90 display cabinets. You will find a very diverse selection of glassware, porcelain, ceramics, jewellery, gold, silver, furniture, paintings, prints, mirrors, clocks, ornaments, Bakelite, pewter, enamel, dolls, tin plate toys, pens etc, Asian and religious art, to mention only a few of the many collectors items displayed. We recommend you click open the map of the market and browse through the different stands or go on a virtual tour of the market.
We are conveniently situated on Elandsgracht 109 in the centre of Amsterdam, opposite the Euro parking multi-storey carpark, close to Leidse Plein.
Entrance is free and we are open six days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed Fridays.
On Wednesdays and in the weekend we also have a flea market. You have to be early to catch a bargain though! For antique dealers we offer the opportunity to rent a stand without the high overheads of owning a shop. In their absence, the sales are handled by the Looier staff. There are also display cases that can be rented, or tables on the flea market.
